Strandläufernest is a youth tent camp set on the sunny southern tip of the island of Sylt, just outside Hörnum on the mudflat (Watt) side. Run by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Northern Germany (Nordkirche), it is designed for youth and family groups rather than individual travelers, with overnight stays allowed during the season from early May to mid-September.
