Charlottenburg Palace is the largest palace complex in Berlin and one of the most important surviving royal residences in Germany. Built from 1695 to 1791, it combines Baroque, Rococo and Classical architecture and served from 1701 to 1888 as the summer residence of the Prussian kings.
