Camping de l'Ile Auger is a 3-star campsite on Quai Danton in Chinon, set on a wooded island along the Vienne and facing the famous Forteresse Royale de Chinon. The site welcomes tents, caravans and campervans and is open from 1 April to 31 October, with reception running from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 20:00 in July and August, and 9:00 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 19:00 in low season.
